We lived on Oahu for around 10 years so we decided to try Hapa J's. We were surprised by the portions and it was definitely worth the price. It really did remind us of all of the plate lunch places out there but better quality food here. We walked out with over half of our food in to go containers because we couldn't eat any more! Lol. Our service was also really good and very laid back. Anyone that's ever been to Hawaii will appreciate the chill atmosphere here. We will definitely go back!

Hapa J's was a cool place. We stopped for lunch due to the quick access off the freeway. The portions are large and the food is delicious, but we were slightly disappointed by the service. It wasn't terrible, but we felt neglected and noticed our waiter was paying more attention to another table with about 8 people who were ordering alcohol and a number of apps. Overall, it was a decent experience and I would go again to see if maybe it was just an off day

Two words. MAN FRIES. Those things are my go to meal at the moment.. Super tasty worth giving a try. Other menu items are really good atmosphere is nice and location is really nice.

Great Food - the Luau Plate or the Mix Plate are absolute must's if you're hungry (big food portions) The poke bowl is a solid secondary option if you're looking for a lighter option. The staff is friendly with great customer service. A+ - serving both locals & visitors alike.

Best Hawaiian Grill I've had. Great local vibe! Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!
