Great hiking. Stunning wildlife. The golf course is the only bad part. To avoid it park at Broadway Rd entrance. Be aware of bobcats and rattlesnakes. Great ocean views on Big Mtn. The whole loop is about 11 miles

Come by after a good rain to easily spot animal tracks.  Come a week or two later and everything will be green with new growth.

This is a well used nature park, the trails are clean and well maintained, and they are relatively easy to go on. It's no Yosemite, but it's a good local place to get outdoors.

Meandering trail starting by Rustic Cyn golf course. Not much shade but nice

I love the bike trails through the nature.  It seems to have become more sandy though. My wife asked why dont they have a paved bike trail :)
