Prefect for weddings. Has a beautiful trail with a few streams. Offer good programs to the public. Easy to get to

This is a great place to reserve for an event or attend an event at. It is only open for events but you can visit the outside. It's a historic building built by the WPA with a large great hall and a screened porch. Extremely popular for weddings and booked way in advance.

Attended a wedding here. Totally fantastic! Beautiful setting for a fall wedding.

Went to see a campfire tale about the underground raidlroad.  It was a unique and fun experience.

Come here often to run from the trails that head off from here. The happy days loop is about 3 miles (5 km)  but can be cut short by about a mile if you take an inner loop. Trail is well maintained and well marked. Best part about it is that it's easy to get to other trails throughout the metro parks from here as a tunnel that runs under the road connects the parking lot to another trail head. Put in many miles here and plan to put in many more!
