I just purchased my first home, and moved in a few weeks ago. I have heard from everyone I know who owns a house to try not to do too much when first moving in, but to just live in the house for a while. This way I can really see what is worth updating/renovating. Well after a few short weeks, I realized that the ceiling light in my kitchen was just too dark and outdated. I have never done electric work, so I decided it would be worth it to have a professional install the light for two reasons: 
1) so it would be installed properly  
2) So I could watch how to do it properly, and not need a professional the next time around. 

Based off much research, I landed on Haramis Electric as the professionals for the job. I called the number on their website and spoke with Nick about the work I wanted/needed done in my kitchen. (as it turns out, he is the owner of the company!) Together, we scheduled an appointment for 3pm on October 6th. I figured since the appointment was a Friday afternoon, I would get the low guy on the totem pole, but I would not have been more wrong. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY showed up to work on my house. (This made me feel good, because as I said earlier, this is my first house, and I am still picky about who works on it)  

Nick was awesome! He never once seemed annoyed with all the questions I was asking, and actually made some recommendations for other electrical work in my house which happened to come up in conversation. He also recommended that I make the switch to all LED lights in my house, which will end up saving me a lot more money in the long run than I would have thought. 

I really can’t say enough about my overall experience with Haramis Electric. I’ve heard so many horror stories about homeowners (especially first time homeowners) being taken advantage of. If you are a first time homeowner, or even a longtime home owner looking to get some electrical work done, I 100% recommend the Haramis Electric team!

Haramis was quick, efficient, friendly, and the price was terrific.  If you need an electrician in the Annapolis/Crofton area, this is the company to call.
