Anytime I’m in Carbondale this is the place for breakfast. The food is good and filling. I love the atmosphere and how each table has different unique coffee mugs! I will say it is fairly busy if you go during rush hour periods but I will say the staff handles it pretty well. 

The last time I was in town a family of 5 entered and tried to be seated before two family’s of 5 that had been waiting well before them; the staff member handled this situation very professionally even though the (confused) customer left. He kept the waiting “line” honest and did his best to explain the situation during the morning rush and I respect that!

I love Harbaugh's. A trip to Carbondale isn't complete until I get a breakfast here. Might have to wait on a busy morning, but it's always been worth it! The omelettes are fantastic (as is everything else I've had there). Can't go wrong getting a bite here!

Great breakfast at a true old fashion diner. This is exactly what you think of in a small, popular diner: often long waits, loud, crammed, often hot even in the winter, and cash only. If you want a place with equally good food, with no wait, quiet, cozy, with big tables for families or groups, outdoor seating and accepts cash, go to Sunny Street.
