Good food, descent price. One of the best day food chains

Possibly the worst costumer service I've ever experienced in a fast food restaurant. Front line employees that want to stand around and talk to customers in the lobby, and a manager that looked as though she wanted to be anywhere else other than at work. 

But hey, the drive- thru was pumping them out. Who cares about the lobby service or having a register open.

Breakfast is what keeps our 2 Hardees places going.  It's still good old Hardee's breakfast.  I didn't ever get lunch because let's face it......it takes FOREVER!!!!!!  They cook everything to order so if you are third in line at the drive thru you are waiting on them to cook their stuff before yours so you'll sit there 30 minutes.  But for giggles I stopped by a couple of months ago and got what they call a quarter pounder which it ain't.  But I was pleasantly shocked!  Sorry Hardees but it reminded me of how McDonald's used to taste back when they were toasting the buns.  The perfect blend of mustard and ketchup together.  I was really surprised and have been going back a bit for the burger.

We did not enjoy our visit at this location.  We ordered our meal just fine, but the apparent manager or shift leader seemed to be having arguments with a couple of her employees in a manner that was uncomfortably loud and visible.  The ketchup dispenser was also out, no one seems to have prepared for that, and the tables were not cleaned in the front of the store.  It was pointless to get ketchup packets from the counter because of the scene that had just transpired behind the counters, and because two couples had just walked in and looked like they were waiting to have someone take their order - but no one was evident at the front of the counter anymore.  Finally, our order took a long time to be filled.  It was good when we got it but the mood was spoiled by then, we were only interested in getting out of there promptly.  We won't return to this location. It was near our primary destination for the day.  We'll continue to enjoy other Hardee's locations near our home which we do find neat, clean, professional, and attentive to details.
