The event was a bit unorganized, we bought VIP tickets and went through the VIP gate, but no one was directing us where to go get our wine glasses and sample tickets.

The lines were too long and the place was pretty well packed. Seems like they might have over sold the event. This was our first time going, but from talking to other people, there were a lot more people there than in previous years.

The biggest issue for me though was the people who were smoking cigars everywhere. There was no designated smoking area. How can I enjoy and sample wine when all I can smell is cigar smoke? Especially at an event where the proceeds go to support the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance and everyone is being exposed to second hand smoke?
