Let me just say my stars don’t come from the food not being good but the horrible customer service. I called in to order a catfish & chicken combo with mild sauce. Should’ve followed my first mind and checked the order but since I’ve been satisfied in the past I decided to trust them to make my order right. I called back to inform the young lady/cashier/rude ass short little girl with a blue bandanna with long curly weave that my order was wrong. She asked was I in the area and my response was no ma’am. Instead of her offering options or at least a resolution she proceeded to ask me what I want them to do about it in a very rude way. After that response I said that’s ok, and hung up. If I pay $10 for a meal I expect not only for my order to be right, food good but also exception customer service regardless of what type of establishment it is. Food good but they will never receive another dime from me. I’m a Harold’s chicken lover so not only did they lose my money but a great customer.

Had jumbo shrimp and the breading fell right off of each shrimp. I also had the chicken gizzards and they were good.

Very disappointing. We've eaten here before and were disappointed, so we stopped going. It's been a year and decided to give them another try, I wish we hadn't. I had the half dark and my husband had the half white. Both were over cooked, lacked seasoning and sauce. There was just a drizzle of mild sauce on the chicken, nothing on the fries. Not what I would expect from Harold's.

Im updating this review i wrote a year ago and i wish i could say something changed. I went back last night to give them another chance hoping after a year they would get better. I did have more sauce but afyer eating the food i see why. Thw xhicken was old and burnt. They have officially lost me as a customer. I will go back to Lansing where the food is fresh and they have excellent customer service.

The food wasn't good at all the fish smelled good but the taste was yuck. My cat loves chicken and he didn't want to eat it.
