Clean and popular, this community landmark in Florence is locally owned. I ate a delicious breakfast here. Good coffee. Economically priced. Very friendly waitress kept my coffee cup refilled. Quaint retro decor. Recommended!

I took my daughter for the very first time, was excited to add Harold's to our list. Fortunately, we ordered donuts so we had food and drinks. Or breakfasts took OVER AN HOUR to come out. My daughter's omelet was 'ok' all of our food was lukewarm. My eggs were inedible, so overcooked they were rubber with a burnt ring around the edges. The biscuit "gravy" tasted like grease, flour, and water. The only thing I ate was the hash (canned). The waitress collected my plates that still had both eggs, untouched biscuit and fill gravy, didn't ask how it was, only if I needed a box. I said no, it was bad - zero response and took the full plates away. The cashier asked how my food was and I told her awful and that I wouldn't return. Her response was, "I don't blame you. We have a new cook that isn't doing very well." WHAT?! Then why was he cooking? After that, they requested full payment for the garbage I was served. Never again, lesson learned. I paid for that mistake... literally.

A great nostalgic place. Had bacon and eggs, I was a bit disappointed that for the price there were just 2 strips of bacon. I don't want to be greedy or a glutton but 2? I thought 3 was pretty typical. Thought I would try some of their much advertised pie but was told that they "didn't have any pie today," which, uh don't advertise it then.

I'd eat there again if I lived closer. Waitress kept my coffee cup full; and my belly got really full for $10. Be 5 stars if I could use my vape inside.

It is a small second generaton family owned restaurant in the Florence area. The food is home style with several specialities, such as Hugh cinnamon and peacon rolls. The food is good and well priced and service is friendly.
