Story

Founded in 2001, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology is the first private comprehensive University established in Pennsylvania in more than 100 years.
Offering undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines, Harrisburg University has grown into a global institution. More than 3,300 students from 75 different countries are enrolled in Harrisburg University.
The University also has a location in Philadelphia, and takes its programs overseas to India, Dubai, the Cayman Islands, Iceland and beyond.
Harrisburg University has the #3 highest internship rates in the U.S., according to U.S. News & World Report. And 92 percent of students surveyed landed jobs in their fields or were enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduating from the Harrisburg University.
Harrisburg University remains the only STEM-focused comprehensive university located between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
