We had our wedding at Harry Caray's in Lombard and it was the most amazing venue! From day 1, my husband and I felt comfortable and excited about our decision. Beth, the on-site coordinator was such a pleasure to work with. She responded very quickly to emails, questions, requests and on the day of, was my savior. The food was beyond delicious; we received so many compliments that the pork chop was cooked to perfection and that the braised beef was melt in your mouth. The venue itself is so beautiful, you get the ballroom feel with steakhouse quality food and staff. We thought it was very reasonably priced, especially considering the superb quality. My husband and I had the best day of our lives and are so very thankful to all the staff at Harry Caray's.

We were in town for a concert and was staying at the Holiday Inn. We decided to enjoy what we thought looked like a nice restaurant, but from the moment we sat down our server Yvette was not overly friendly. We were clearly not dressed in professional attire, as we were going to a concert, and it was like she was judging a book by its cover.  When taking our food order she seemed less than pleased with our choices.  As the tables started to fill up in our area she greeted the guests much nicer than she had ever talked to our table. We had to wait a really long time before she came back to check on us after our food came out and in the meantime we had already told one if the wait staff that we were ready for our bill. When she finally made it back to our table instead of our bill she brought a dessert menu. We had three people in our group and we all had time to use the restroom, one at a time, before she came back to the table. When we told her we didn't want dessert she made a comment about that. We finally got our bill and it was not separate correctly and she was rude to her co-worker who had helped us by getting our bill together even tho she had not helped us and wouldn't know who got what.  The food was amazing and perfectly cooked but unfortunately we will not return. I hope she was just having an off day and that she doesn't treat people like that regularly.  I sell high end eyewear and if I ever treated one of my patients like that I wouldn't have a job.

Service was fantastic, employees were very professional. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I've had better for less than or equal to half the cost of the food here. Way overpriced.

We could not be more happy with our experience of having our wedding at Harry Caray’s in Lombard! One of the biggest reasons we chose to have our wedding at Harry Caray’s was how amazingly helpful and accommodating Beth was when we initially went to check out the venue. During our planning process, we worked with Beth and Alyssa, who both were so incredible with communication and getting back to our emails and phone calls so quickly. Any idea or recommendation we asked for, they found a way to make it work for us! Leading up to our wedding day, we worked with Alyssa who helped us with multiple meetings including our food tasting and linen choices. She let us drop off our decorations a week early and went through all the final details of our day. Alyssa even contacted all of our vendors the week before our wedding to coordinate everything with them. She attended our rehearsal to make sure everything went smoothly on our day, and she helped us set up a “happy hour” after our rehearsal at the Harry Caray’s Bar. I felt so calm and relaxed knowing that I could count on Alyssa to take care of everything for us. On the day of our wedding, she had all of our decorations set up beautifully. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. She even left a plate of all of our appetizers at our wedding table because she knew we would be too busy to have them during our cocktail hour. After the wedding, she collected all of our decorations and kept them for me until I could pick them up later in the week. She even kept the top tier of our cake to give to us! I also loved the set up of the Harry Caray’s Ballroom including the large room, high ceilings with floor to ceiling windows, and walkout terrace with a fire pit that we used for our cocktail hour. The chairs and decor of the room was tasteful and classy, and we loved the black and white old Wrigley Field photos on the walls. It was very convenient having the Westin Hotel attached. We also had breakfast in the Harry Caray’s restaurant the morning after our wedding. Every staff member (ballroom and restaurant/bar) that we encountered during our wedding weekend was also so professional, helpful, and provided the best quality service. From start to finish, we had the best experience having our wedding at Harry Caray’s. Alyssa and her staff completely exceeded our expectations and I would recommend this venue to anyone!

I started off with a beer in the bar, the bartender seemed annoyed to be working. I met 2 coworkers for dinner and moved over to the dining room. The waiter was really friendly, but that's the only compliment I can pay this place. I've had better steaks anytime I've eaten at Chili's...no exaggeration. We received a "gift from the chef" which was some spaghetti from a box and some terrible canned sauce. As with high-end steakhouses, sides are a la cart, you're going to drop at least $75 for a steak and a basic side. We spent $300 with tip for a meal that was on par with old country buffet. I have no idea how this place stays open, except for maybe hotel guests who go there out of convince and don't care about the cost some they're expensing it.
