Seems nice enough, but you'll be better off seeing literally anyone else. Ive seen a lot of Doctors over the course of my life, and he is the worst that I've seen. Doesnt return phone calls. Unmotivated staff. Lack of compassion for patients. Has left me in a bind without meds more than once. Find a different doctor. Not worth risking your health with a bad doctor.

My story with Stephen Hart:
For the last 15+ years I have been a patient of Stephen Hart. Never had any major health problems - so things were fine. This changed about a year ago and so did my opinion on Stephen Hart. I enjoyed his stories and his unconventional look at medicine. It seems to me however, that in recent years he has become increasingly frustrated with practicing medicine. He goes on long rants about how insurance companies are making it difficult to practice medicine. I feel somewhat bad for him about this, because I agree. However, this does not give him the right to treat his patient with complete utter disrespect. I mean the type that you could get reported for to the board. I did not do this but certainly thought about it. And it's usually not in my nature to do something like this. 

Dear Dr. Hart when someone comes with serious complaints  and pains to you do not just dismiss their opinion. Try to listen. Create an environment where they feel comfortable talking. You might learn something and as a result can treat the patient better.  And don't get afraid when the patient has a medical opinion themselves they are not challenging you they simply are looking for an answer too. So my experience was that Dr. Hart reacted extremely defensive and unprofessional when I voiced my option on the matter. Getting him to help you with referrals is near impossible. He advises you to do it yourself. 

The other thing that I notice is that Dr. Hart has had constantly changing front desk assistants - who tend to be not of the motivated type. They also don't seem to stay very long. Not surprised to be honest.  But again - I have compassion for Dr. Hart but think he should seek council himself on what it entails to be an MD. In my opinion - and I come from a family of MDs - a good MD is a good listener , has a calm analytical mind, is well read and only secondly a good lecturer not the other way around. 

I do wish Dr. Hart all the best and think he has the potential for being a good doctor - because he thinks at times outside the box - however he needs to realize that it has to be about the patient not him.

Dr. Stephen Hart is excellent. He's very straightforward, respects the time he has with you and helps you get to the root of any issue you might be having. He asks lots of questions, empathizes and offers very meaningful paths to take to solve a problem. He tends to look at the bigger picture of wellness, which is what I appreciate most. On top of that, he's super charming and witty, which makes it always a pleasure. Totally recommended.
