One of the best, as long as it is not snowing or they lose power. E and F gates are fairly new and roomy, with a fair selection of restaurants, especially in the larger E gates. Check out the small exhibit of Atlanta's most famous son, Martin Luther King. Sometimes there is decent live music being played in the E restaurant court. Currency exchanges, like most in the USA give poor exchange rates. Wait until you get to your country of destination to change, unless it's Italy. You'll get a better rate. The walk underground between the concourses is definitely worth it if you have the time. There's history and art on display and is a good way to pass the time and relax. Check out the "forest" between A and B!

Longhorns Restaurant on Concourse C is a great place for a nice meal. Friendly staff and excellent food. I had a wonderful salad at a reasonable price. My waitress made sure it was exactly the way I wanted it. I also had a cocktail made the way I wanted it. I was very good. Shaken not stirred in a tall glass. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Having flown in/out of numerous airports from coast to coast I have to say that this is far and away my favorite airport for ease of access, parking, transportation between concourses, cleanliness (including the restrooms) and overall efficiency. There are numerous displays and art as well as historical elements to see here as well. As with every airport, if you eat or drink here you will pay a heavy cost in convenience. Simply one of the best. Update: 03/05/2018 I have noticed a lot of people have questions regarding the ability to make connecting flights here with limited time. This airport is very well laid out with one of the single best transportation systems (Between concourses) I have seen nationwide. Typical travel time between them is generally less than 10 minutes (Including your walking time) and typical connecting flights generally give you about 30 to 45 min. Hartsfield has one of the higher rates of on time arrival and departure rates in the country. Having said that, weather and the departure from your point of origin can alter that. However you should make it to your connecting flights with time to spare.

Surprisingly, a very good experience! I came here shortly after the massive power incident they had. My family and I were flying Delta to Detroit during Christmas vacation. We were anticipating chaos or another outage, but this was not the case. There was a minor hold-up at baggage check due to a printer malfunction for our boarding passes. Other than that, the staff seemed very diligent and they were quick as could be in such a busy airport. A pretty nice food selection, too! I would recommend arriving two hours before your scheduled flight because even though my experience was moderately quick, yours might not be. It was packed!

It always seems like I hear folks grumbling about this airport, but I have always had great experiences here. Sure, it is huge and a pain in the butt if you are in a hurry, but the subway sort of tram system is easy and a breeze to maneuver. It is always clean, and has lots of shopping and dining options while you are waiting to depart. It truly allows for a comfortable atmosphere during your wait. The issue I do have is leaving the airport. The areas are color coded and it is often difficult to find your way to ground transportation, which one is dedicated to hotel shuttles, etc. and the baggage claim area can be a bit cluttered. In comparison to other airports, it is on a higher level.
