If you goto the meat department on say Thursday or Friday and see a nice piece of meat with a low price. With a card you save like $5 or $7. Better ckeck the sales paper becomes that sale ended on Wednesday and you will be charged the full price at checkout. Don't get me wrong. You can get delicious food here but don't think you can get a bargain or supper low price. That probably wont happen!!! They have more tricks than Winn Dixie. There is a big display of Bounty Basis with a big sales sign on it all the time but most or the time its the regular price. Today it was $3.98 Next week the sales sign and the big display will still be there but the price will be $2 more. Been like that for over a year.

It claims to save you money but have high prices. The sale items for example buy 1 get 1 box of cereal for $4.29. Any where else 1 box of cereal is $3.00. They only have 1 cashier open. After waiting 10 to 15 minutes waiting they open another one (sometimes) where you still have to wait. The deli doesn't have a large selection & no one is usually behind the counter. If they are they act like they're doing you a favor. I can shop any where & not have to put up with that or high prices.

Harvey's is a discount super market and it shows. The parking lot is dirty and filled with shopping carts. The entrance is always surrounded by a gaggle of old drunk men cat calling women and either talking about sports or their sexual prowess. Inside the store you will find a wide selection of high fructose corn syrup and gmo laden overly processed food products. The produce area is brimming with a limited variety of wilted greens and rotting fruits and vegetables. The meat department has a wide selection of smoked meats and parts of animals that people probably should not eat. The beer aisle is well stocked with the finest malt beverages that a toothless homeless person could want. After you have finished shopping be prepared to enjoy standing in line for an extended period of time as there is usually only one lane open. Harvey's is not the oasis of the North Main street food desert that I have heard it described as. The only reason I gave it two stars is because of the nice guy in the parking lot that will clean your tires and windows.

If I could give negative stars I would. Since the change from winn Dixie to Haveys this store has gone completly down hill. Produce is horrible, shelves are rarely stacked, the meat cooler is always broken and the cashiers, oh the cashiers... If they aren't going out of their way to ignore you then they are slinging you seriously snotty attitude all while they toss your groceries down and bagging tomatoes and bread with can vegetables. Avoid at all costs!!!!
