I wish I had read the reviews of this place prior to going. I decided to take my child to Hasbro instead of driving the extra 40 mins to Boston Children's or Mass General. I'm pretty sure in the amount of time we spent waiting around. I could have earned an online medical degree  from Oceania University with time left over to taken the board exams. 
 
Even though we were literally the only people in the waiting room when we arrived. We ended up waiting eight hours in an exam room for the eye doctor to arrive. I was originally told I would have to wait 1-1.5 hours to see the doctor. It ended up taking five hours from the time the doctor was paged until he / she showed up. 

As you can imagine it can be challenging trying to entertain a young  child for that amount of time. If this is Rhode Island's premier hospital for children. I can only imagine what those of you who have to patronize Rhode Island's "average / good" hospital experience. I highly recommend that you take the extra time to travel to one the various hospitals in Boston and don’t waste your time going to Hasbro.

I was shocked how this hospital was. I would never recommend this hospital to anybody and after we were discharged we had to go somewhere else. They even made my sons condition worse. My son went in for  a left arm muscle injury can you guess where the dumb nurse placed the blood pressure cuff? I asked to speak to the nurse supervisor but they never they never let me. I am not from around here and will never ever return to this hospital. This ER needs training it is the worst I have ever been to.

Brings back good, yet bad, memories for me. It even looks cool at night. But the people who work there are somewhat unprofessional

Our daughter was diagnosed with chrones  1 1/2 years ago and we have spent a lot of time at this hospital. Weeks at a time we spent here after her being admitted.All I can say is the staff is awesome.They are very caring and very respectful. Every time our daughter is admitted it is the same. Very professional. I don't get these nasty reviews that I have read. So here is my review to all of the Hasbro staff....we love you guys and we thank God  we chose you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Keep up the good work!

What some people need to understand is, when arriving to an ER , don't expect to be treated right away, it's normal to wait in an ER for more than an hour, there are a minimum of staff to go around at once and Doctor's priority is to make sure each patient gets treated right away but sometimes certain patients are going through far worse than others, and those patients need to be treated right away, but most Hospitals are far worse than the wait some people experienced here at Hasbro. Some children are more important then other's (Their reason for coming to the ER)  Now if your child was stabbed or injured badly, of course they'll help your child right away, now  if that's not the case then expect to wait. Thank you :)
