MY PLATFORM

Should I be successful in my election campaign my primary goals would be to:

* I would ensure and demonstrate directly to practicing doctors that the value of membership in CMA far outweighs the financial cost incurred in dues.

* I will encourage all physicians to incorporate health advocacy as an integral part of the practice of medicine.

* I will solicit the participation of ALL members by optimizing the year-round process of policy-making.

*I will work hard to regain the respect for the role of the physician in society by emphasizing our role as teachers, healers, advocates and health partners.

* I will continue to lead the fight to maintain MICRA.

* I will champion for enhanced reimbursement and decreased administrative burden in caring for patients in federal health programs.

* I would fight against government intrusion into the doctor-patient relationship.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Haskins and her staff. She goes above and beyond for her patients and I will always be eternally grateful for that.

By far the best experience I have had with any doctors office. Ruth is patient, kind, straight to the point, and extremely knowledgeable. She performed my c-section for my second child and completely fixed an awful keyloid scar that I had from the previous birth of my daughter. I was so nervous in surgery, and she was so caring and calmed me down and made me feel ten times better. Her staff is all so wonderful and so helpful! Anytime I meet someone who is expecting I always recommend Dr. Haskins!

Dr. Haskins is my most favorite OB/GYN EVER. I have gone to her and her office for many years. All the staff is wonderful. But she made the exam (which is not the most comfortable thing usually), an actually fun event. No kidding! It was thorough and not rushed at all (even though I know she has tons of work and other patients). I know without any doubts that she cares deeply about her patients and their health. If you have her as your doctor, you are very lucky indeed!

She explains things very well and takes time with you to discuss everything and the best part is she personally calls back if patient need ..I have never experienced like that in my life that any Doctor returns the call .I highly recommend her
