My past experiences with family law representation have been lackluster to say the least.  Working with Alexandria has been a whole different experience.  She has regained my trust in attorneys and I always feel like she is working hard for me, doing the due diligence necessary in order to achieve the best results for her client.

Eighteen months ago I entered the offices of the Hatcher Law Group in Charlotte and met Courtney Smith. It was the best thing that happened to me during my divorce process. From the first day I felt confident and comfortable with Courtney. She was prepared beyond belief every step of the way.  Her attention to detail and preparation for the mediation proceeding was incredible.  My property settlement was complex including multiple properties, pensions, and investments and was settled fairly and equitably.  While Courtney was fully knowledgeable she didn't hesitant consulting her colleagues if there was a question on any issue. I'm now a happy man starting a new life in Florida. Thank-you to Courtney, her paralegal, and The Hatcher Law Group.

Courtney Smith is an excellent attorney and the Hatcher Law Group is an awesome firm!  Courtney was very professional, provided excellent advice and counsel through the entire process.  I have continued to work with her even after my divorce on specific issues that have arisen and she has been there for me and provided great service.  The level of service and expertise that Courtney provided me was outstanding.  She definitely out-performed the opposing lawyer and the firm outperformed the opposing firm.  The Hatcher Law Group and Courtney Smith are top performers in their profession.  I wholeheartedly recommend both the firm and the attorney to anyone, except my adversaries.

When your attorney spends more time asking if you can get your hands on more money (to pay him) than working on your case, you know you've gone to the wrong place. Do you think it is appropriate to require the client be escorted to the bathroom with a chaperone in their own office??  Be prepared to be pay the lawyer's hourly wage and the paralegal's hourly wage to do clerical duties. Be prepared to pay "consultations" to other lawyers in the group without your prior consent. 

My best advice....look elsewhere!

Hatcher Law Group and Paul DeJesse handled my very difficult and unique divorce/custody case with competence, experience and compassion.
 Paul is very detail oriented and that was daunting at times but I quickly learned it was worth the "extra detail" and "work." 
He makes a point to always be" more than"  prepared and to plan for the unexpected.  He not only spent time on the details of my case, he spent time getting to know me as a person and my child.  I KNOW that made a difference in the outcome of my case.
Christy Kaliner, his paralegal never misses anything and is as tireless and as detail oriented as Paul is. She is professional, compassionate and knowlegeable to a fault.
Paul and Christy also make a point to " humanize" a divorce and custody case in a way that makes a difficult and stressfull time easier.
They represent the legal system in the best possible way and genuinely care about each of their clients and the outcome of their case.
