It was about 7:50 pm on a Friday night. Upon arrival into the restaurant we noticed it was empty. So we took the risk and tried it out. We ordered congri, sweet plantains and bistec empanizado. $20.80 a plate. It looked good on the plate. The rice was room temperature. The sweet plantains as well. The breaded steak had a breading that just tasted off. It tasted like Italian breading instead of Cuban. We had to take it off the steak to eat it. When we got our bill they charged 20 percent gratuity. We were a party of two adults and one child. We asked the waitress to remove it. She said the bill automatically charges for a table of four which we were sitting at even thou we were a party of three. She removed the charge and we tipped 12 percent in cash because she never even came once to check up on us, the error with the tip charge, over priced and the weird tasting breading on the steak. We tried it,but we won't be back.
Delicious authentic Cuban fare. Loved the sampler appetizer and the main course of Lechón Asado was tender and juicyFood: 4/5
At first I was kinda skeptical, the restaurant was completely empty and the plaza wasn’t that busy but I am so glad we found this delicious Cuban restaurant. The food was very good, cooked perfectly and authentic. We will definitely be back when we are in town. Side note- I recommend the Ropa Vieja and tres leches cake.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Havana's Cuban Cuisine and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that immediately made me feel at home. But let's get to the food. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The Churrasco con Camarones was an absolute delight. The steak was perfectly cooked to my liking, and the addition of the succulent shrimp was a fantastic touch. The dish was beautifully presented and the flavors were well-balanced and absolutely mouth-watering. And the Masitas de Puerco? Simply amazing. The pork was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and a tender, juicy center. The seasoning was spot-on and the dish was bursting with flavor. I could easily have eaten a second plate of this dish! Overall, I cannot recommend Havana's Cuban Cuisine enough. The food is absolutely outstanding, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, look no further than Havana's Cuban Cuisine. And if you go, make sure you try the Churrasco con Camarones and the Masitas de Puerco- you won't regret it! Five stars all around!
The food was ok and overpriced. The 20% service tip was automatically added to our account. I enjoyed the Cuban tamal, but I don’t think I will be visiting this place again.Recommended dishesCuban Tamale
This was a highlight of my trip. The Montuno Havanero was delicious pork, tamale, rice & beans, yuca, and fried plantain. Loved my Alhambra beer and coconut flan as well. Very friendly and fast service. Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in Orlando!Recommended dishesCongri, Flan de Queso, Tamal Cubano
Amazing good quality food. The the skirt steak with vegetables was amazing. I had the best vanilla flan I’ve ever had here. The staff is very great. Our waiter, the bald guy, was the friendliest and most informative! Will be back when I come back to Orlando.
Place was empty and it took a while for service but the food was amazing. Tamales were delicious. Ropa vieja too and good congris. Ripe plantains were yummy. We found it a bit pricey though and the portions were ok. The flan was really tiny but good taste.
I had never been treated so bad here in US, it reminds me of the bad service we used to receive in Cuba. The welcome message when we arrived was , “we have limited menu” and they keep saying that over and over, it was like they wanted us to leave. At first I thought it was because they were about to close but then I realized it was a Saturday at 7:30 PM. We decided to stay because we had spent the whole day at the parks eating fast food and the kids were desperate for real food. They only served us “palomilla” and to be honest it was the worst steak I ever had, tasted like dirty clothes and when we finished the food they bring us the check without even ask if we wanted dessert, coffee or even water. I should had took pictures like I used to do in previous post but I was so mad that I didn’t thought about that. IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA AND DON’T WANT TO RUIN YOUR VACATION, PLEASE DON’T GO THERE
Came to the courtyard by Marriott across the street for a couple days stay for Disney world. Stopped by for lunch with my 11 month old in a stroller. We were told strollers are not allowed pretty nasty policy considering families visit this area with kids. You would have thought it’s a fine dining restaurant lol - don’t care to review the actual food sorry
