I had a great experience when having my bike tuned up overall. The price was reasonable and my bike was ready within 24 hours. Could have been the timing of drop off. But my bike looks like new!

I have a few problems with this shop. I feel that the owner is sometimes very rude toward anyone who rides BMX as he doesn't sell any parts. He has problems with customer service toward me quite often. Prices for things like tubes and locks are fair, but the prices to get something tightened or adjusted is very expensive. He tried to charge me $7.50 for something that I could do my self in under a minute if I was home and other shops would charge me to tighten.

My daughter needed her bike tuned up (with a few minor repairs) and readied for college. Jon took care of all of her needs! He outfitted her bike with reflectors, lights, a bell, a basket, locks, and fitted her for a helmet. He taught her how to use all of this equipment and made recommendations for how she can prevent her bike and accessories from getting stolen. He knows everything about bikes!!! How nice to get such friendly, personal, customized service!!

I put a handlebar extender on my bike which led to too much "play" in the stem tube. Trying to fix the problem myself became increasingly frustrating. I rode to the Havertown Bicycle Shop to see if they were able to fix the problem. After waiting for 5 minutes as there were numerous customers in the shop, Jon immediately came out onto the floor and began to work on my bike. 20 minutes later he diagnosed the problem and had it fixed at a ridiculously low price. Normally I go to Bike Line but I thought I would try someone local. I'm glad I did!
