I had the chance to attend this school during my exchange student program. Having visited a lot of schools in the state I can probably say that HHS is not the best in relation to sports comforts (does not have own swimming pools in the building, dressing rooms are not big enough and many other thing relatable to the size of the town and the school itself), but for sure I can say that the teachers had been the best teaching experience in my life, believe me, they made the difference; some were better than others, but overall they all were really good at explaining their subject, even to a foreign student like me. Naturally there are also some bads: I found the overall "safe protection" thing pretty annoying; so many lock downs and so much police coming visiting. It's not nice to be always watched and controlled, it doesn't make you feel comfortable. I also heard some complains about the sex rights politics that this school follows.. And it's not that good. From my pretty limited point of view, I can say that this is a good school to attend if you are a foreign or a good guy. If you are not any of these or "worse", skip over.

As a senior student there now, this school is not the worst school to be sent too. Of course, that means there are some draw backs. The administration is terrible, but the teachers there are great. We also have the best theatre program in north Montana. We have a resident cop that has his own office there (I laughed when I read in the paper: The chief of police said he didn't want it to: Seem like a police state; seem like the school is out of control.). But if you want your child to have the best high school experience that north Montana can offer, send them here!
