Good Chinese food. Good service. Good scorpion bowls. Not the freshest food...ie. the pork Fried rice had usually been sitting for a bit. Great chicken wings. Good value.

I have been going to this place for years. I went with my Mom and Dad when I was younger and now I take my own children and friends there. The food is consistently always delicious. It is our favorite place to each Chinese food. The staff is friendly the place is clean and there is a cozy ambiance there. We used to live in Fremont, NH and traveled to get there we just moved closer to Kingston and are thrilled to get to one of our fave places even quicker. Take out or eat in just awesome. And the scorpion bowl for 2 is great!

Nice, attentive wait staff.  On the rare occasion I eat Chinese food,  I expect a great taste to make up for the unhealthy,  greasy, salty meal.  But every few months I get the craving. 
The general Gau's chicken was soft and greasy (I actually bit into a grease infused, damp piece of breading prior to spitting it out.  The fried rice had minimal flavor. The all dark- meat chicken had a lot of fat and connective tissue.
I really wish it were great but with all honesty it may have been the lowest quality Chinese meal I've had. 
The patrons seemed to really enjoy it- they were shoveling it in.

Every time we have a family gathering that's what we go for takeout or the whole family 14 of us and they could accommodate damn more great place good food great price good drinks

I have been coming here for 30 years, and still enjoy it. When we order extra Crispie  chicken,  we get it. Drinks are awesome.  Love Ron. He is very knowledgeable.
