Yes, nobody answers the phone-all options on recorded phone line never lead to a real person,  no employee answers anyone's questions on Google,   and the office is a low budget, small government funded facility, without even a public bathroom...BUT the people working counter are friendly, helpful and you can get your certified birth certificate in 25 minutes or so!!! (personal check or money order only-no cash or debit cards...you need an ID, that is approved on PA vital records site)

For such a small office, that handles so many people, they were very kind, and efficient for me. I appreciate them so much, definetely worth the drive.

So called to ask a question n they answer n hang right up. My question is if someone has adopted a child can they change by taking the birth parents off the birth certificate n put their name on it?
