Out of the blue, my normally healthy husband was diagnosed with two debilitating autoimmune disorders. His health declined rapidly to the point that he was so weak and in so much pain that he could barely function. He was referred to a rheumatologist who immediately prescribed injections of Humira, a biologic with a long list of extreme side effects. The doctor couldn’t explain to us how he contracted these disorders or even confirm that he actually had the disorders. Worse, we realized Humira wouldn’t cure him, it would only treat the symptoms. We felt there must be a reason for this sudden change in health and we started looking for answers. That’s when we found Lynn Kettell-Slifer. First, she took an extremely detailed look at my husband’s life from infancy to present and she put him on an elimination diet. The diet wasn’t the culprit, so we began a battery of blood and urine tests. These are not the run-of-the-mill tests you’ll get from your MD and most of them ridiculously, are not covered by insurance. Through Lynn’s tireless detective work we found that he had been exposed to an environmental toxin. She put him on several natural supplements and within a relatively short time he was almost symptom free. And, he remains Humira free.

Lynn Kettell-Slifer really cares. Making my body work the way it was meant to through proper diet, nutrition, and using pharmaceuticals only when absolutely necessary is an approach that worked for me. The extensive blood testing went over and above what a typical doc would order and gave lots more information about my health to treat my underlying problem.
