Hand's down the best diet delivery service in the city. The staff here is absolutely wonderful to deal with, the food is inexpensive, and comes individually packaged for easy planning and carry. Having tried several other services, I can say this is the top bang for your buck.

I have used Healthy Diet Delivery for significant periods of time over the past couple of years. Each time I think about stopping, I add more days (which is easy to do online) as I have become spoiled by the convenience and food offered by the service. The quality, taste, and selection is amazing. It provides an easy way to monitor your caloric intake while eating a variety of tasty foods. Not to mention the time saved for a good price as compared with other services. The owner is extremely responsive to any queries. Highly recommended!

IT'S CHEAP FOR A REASON. Thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. I never could have expected such awful customer service and lack of professionalism! Plus the food isn't really that good (or isn't what it's supposed to be), and the accuracy of the nutritional information isn't always correct. Here's what you can expect: -Meals like "barbecue chicken" or "chili lime beef" are just a big slab of sliced meat with some sauce on top. The meats aren't actually cooked in the sauce, it's just plain chicken or beef with what seems to be a thick marinade sauce on top, which is pretty disgusting. -Starches and produce items that are supposed to be topped with a dressing or olive oil often aren't; when it arrives it's just plain green beans or plain rice, and you just have to deal with it. You also have to deal with your calorie breakdown NOT reflecting this change (I know because plain green beans WITHOUT olive oil, for example, doesn't have nearly as many calories as green beans WITH olive oil, and this occurred with several side produce and starch items). -No automatic email confirmations of anything; whether it's payment, meal choice confirmations, plan renewal, nothing! You get a welcome email telling you how the plan works. But there is nowhere you can actually get a breakdown of your charges, even though you're paying 100's of dollars every month! -When the guy taking calls goes on vacation, you're basically screwed because nobody will call you back, and when your service is interrupted as a result of that, they'll shrug their shoulders, refuse to apologize or take any kind of responsibility. -When items go missing they'll replace them as long as you stay a customer, but if you don't renew the plan, they basically ignore you. -The owner might ask to call you to rectify a situation, and when you say he can, he never actually does! *BELOW IS A DESCRIPTION OF EXACTLY WHAT I EXPERIENCED:* I had 3 items missing from my last delivery. I didn't even know it was my last delivery, because there was no email notification. But I knew my renewal was coming up soon, so I was making several calls over the course of a week to try to get the situation sorted out before I consider renewing (as anybody in their right mind would!). But nobody answered. I left messages but nobody called me back and the cutoff time (to make an order before my service got interrupted) came & went. Suddenly I get an email (regular email, not automated one, which is probably why it was late) saying that I should've gotten my last delivery that morning (though I never did) and that it's time for me to renew "to insure uninterrupted service". EVEN THOUGH MY SERVICE HAD ALREADY BEEN INTERRUPTED! Which meant I had to be without service for a week (got a different & much better service). I emailed the guy (Chris) who takes the calls and sends customers emails and said "I didn't receive any delivery at all this morning. And in my last delivery there were 3 items missing. I tried calling & left two messages but nobody called me back." The reply I got: "Your down to zero days, that’s why there was no delivery on Monday. I was away last week … did you call about the missing items on Thursday? Let me know if you would like to renew for another 30 days and I can make up for the missing items." "Let me know if you would like to renew for another 30 days and I can make up for the missing items"? Should I not be getting compensated regardless of whether I renew the plan or not??? I'm a PAYING customer, if I don't receive something I paid for you're supposed to compensate me! If you screw up thinking a person's last delivery was today & it wasn't, and had them calling you for a week while you were on vacation, and interrupted their service, doesn't that warrant an apology at LEAST?? I explained all of this, incl. the fact that I would at least expect an apology. But nope. No reply from Chris. The owner, Rob, emailed me asking if he could call me. I said he could & provided my phone #. But guess what? He never called. Ever. No compensation & not even an apology!

Healthy Diet is perfect for my lifestyle as they deliver twice weekly with three days worth of Fresh food in each delivery. The food is custom to your diet and food choices. Very convenient and the price is right.

Food is disgusting....my standards are not that high, but at least I'd like to eat real food that doesn't like it's coming out of a can. When we tried to get a refund they said they are unwilling to take a loss on the food (food that's not even delivered yet!!!!) We want our money back or will continue to blast negative feedback on social media. I hope the owner sees this and fire this guy that works in Toronto who's answering the calls.
