I called twice to make an appointment as a new patient. First time I spoke with Shay. She was wonderful but I was not able to make the appointment since I did not have my insurance information. She was very nice and understanding. I said I would call back. 5 min later I called and spoke to Ellen. She was super rude, should not be in direct contact with patients. When a person is calling for the first time to make an appointment they are already nervous about going with a new doctor. This woman makes you feel unwelcome on the phone. Just can imagine how she is in person.

To me the first indication of a good doctor is her staff she surrounds herself with. I've "fired" doctors because of staffs in the past, but I have no problem w/ Dr. Liu's office. I love Dr. Liu as my doctor as she takes her time and carefully listens. I would recommend her to anyone who asks.

Dr. Joy Liu is very welcoming and very dedicated to her patients. I am very satisfied with the medical assistance she has given us. Her, as well as the medical assistants are committed to their Patients. Thank you for all you do!

Nice and caring does not mean competent! I was rendered deaf by the medical assistant and physicians assistant at this office during an ear lavage. They used incorrect pressure to administer the lavage. They caused the earwax to be pressed against my eardrum. It was painful. I was dizzy and faint . I became deaf in that ear. I had to see a specialist to correct their mistake.
