1700$ for a sprained ankle. I stopped at this establishment when I was traveling and I had torn some ligaments in my foot but needed a boot cast which they did provide which I appreciate. The nurses there simply could have let me know that the ER charges $1,000 to visit that hospital versus the other part of that hospital would have been half that price for the same Services pretty simple. But I get that it's a don't-ask-don't-tell type of a scenario. Lesson learned there you'll never see me visit that hospital ever again even if I have a bone sticking out of my skin.

The emergency staff were quick and attentive, especially Dr. Nyberg. Everyone was so kind.

This is the place where my family grew up we have been going here for over 18 years. The doctors have been excellent every time. The nursing staff is great the persons are always very friendly. It's good to know that you are always treated like family.

Wife just had our first baby there 2 weeks ago. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Great experience for first-timers like us!

I would give less than one star if possible. I visited Heber Valley Hospital really early one morning in January, during a blizzard, because I had strep, and I went looking for an InstaCare (which I learned doesn’t exist at that facility, or anywhere in Heber). When I asked where I could find an InstaCare, I was told by the nurse that my only option was an after hours walk-in clinic, but I’d have to wait until after 6:00pm. I was in so much pain, I couldn’t wait, and also couldn't imagine driving to Park City in the blizzard to find an InstaCare. I knew all I needed was the rapid strep test and a prescription, which is exactly what was provided to me that morning. In and out in 20 minutes. I understand there’s a charge to be seen, and the ER is more expensive than a regular visit or an InstaCare, but the strep test was just under $50, and wasn’t even seen by the incredibly smug doctor, although he did come in to introduce himself, and tell me in a very condescending manor, it probably wasn't even strep. A few weeks later, I received a bill for $1,055! I felt so strongly the charges for my visit were unjust under the circumstances and VERY basic treatment received, and in hopes of IHC working with me to reduce the amount, I formally disputed the charges in writing as required. I recently received their reply, and my request was "respectfully declined". I was told I was, in fact, evaluated by the doctor, and he "ordered my treatment/services, and provided a prescription". Are you kidding me? I just moved to Heber this past September, and still getting familiar with the area. Since my unfortunate visit to the Heber Valley Hospital ER in January, I have downloaded the Intermountain Connect Care app so I can been "seen" for $49 and something ridiculous like this never happens again. What a horrible experience! I will never go there again!
