teachers were helpful and got to the point, but everything is one year ahead, which would be okay if you've been going to HCS for your entire life, but it's very very difficult to get used to. also, the teachers are noticeably less kind to students in the LGBTQ+ community. personally, i am a lesbian. but i never told anyone during my time at HCS. between classes are very rushed and if you're tardy at all (even if you come in as the bell rings) the teacher gets to embarrass you as much as they want. the students are unwelcoming and rude. the dress code is overly strict. i wore a boys suit one wednesday and got in a lot of trouble. also i couldn't wear any band shirts. i did not enjoy going to HCS and i do not recommend, especially for being so overpriced.
