Good good but we may have gone there on an off day.  Service was spotty and portion size was not as described.  We asked the server how the taco size was and she said 2 of them and she is stuffed.  I ordered 2 and they were not super filling.  Very tasty but I was hoping for maybe double the size.  A tad pricey for the portion but nice and close to the beach and something different compared to fast food which is nice to have.  I would def visit in fact in the area.  Only real reason for 3 stars was because the carbonation was down for the beers which left a lot of them to taste more flat.  I chose to not have one because of this along with a few others in my party.

Had high hopes seeing all the reviews however after waiting for waters over 10 minutes and having to ask 3 times for a high chair for our daughter without receiving one made us get up and leave before we even ordered entrees. The chips and guacamole were decent we ate them with my daughter sitting in my lap. We promptly left and had great seafood down the road.

Popped in here after driving over from Palm Springs for a quick snack. The vibe was very relaxed, waiting staff smiley and happy. The food had flavour and texture which made a change from the stuff we had endured in the Coachella valley the week before. The smoked fish pate and the roasted avocado were both lovely!! If I am ever in the area again I am coming back.

Really surprised this time out as I was only here to meet a friend. Been disappointed in the past with the quality of the food. I had the fish and chips which although they didn't have the classic taste and texture were very good in their own way. 4 good sized pieces of fish, with a light batter, fresh and tasty. Service was good too and never had to ask for a refill of my iced tea. I will be back to try other menu items.

WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HELLO BETTY!!! 
We visit Oceanside every year and every trip means daily happy hours at Hello Betty!! 
My favorite is the peel and eat shrimp and the burger sliders oh and can't forget the frozen margaritas. The guava mango.... delicious. The raspberry cilantro jalepeno margarita also very good. 
The service is first rate and the laid back atmosphere makes this place a great find to spend a few hours at.
