Story

In the late 1960's a handful of Henrico County employees pulled together to create Henrico Federal Credit Union. Since 1967, we've been serving Henrico County employees and their family members, and we are thrilled that our core members continue to return to us year after year.

Now, as the Richmond-area's first community chartered credit union, we can serve those who live, work, worship or attend school in Henrico and the greater Richmond area including:

Same as the other reviewer, "If it wasn't for the rates I wouldn't have business there."  I'm planning to close my account when my auto loan is paid off.

Revised review to 1 star because I continue to get poor service from all branches of this credit union. Most recently they put my balance in the negative because of their  $2 monthly fee. I was told today while making my car payment that they were planning on charging me a $30 fee for having a negative balance. Of course no-one called me to say that, so I'm glad I found out.

Quick, pleasant service. Shiras fixed my problem in less than 3 minutes while the other company took 4 phone calls and almost 2 hours!

They are extremely antsy on allowing you to spend money that you have on your debt card. High Security is good but when I'm trying to purchase something I can afford it declines my card because they don't think it is me when it is me. Also they rarely ever send statements to my house.

I only use this branch for shared banking payments and staff always seem professional and curtious. There is never a long wait and I am able to get in and out within 5 minutes even on Saturdays.
