DO NOT USE! SCAM! EXTORT! These guys are extortionist, please be very aware! DO NOT USE! My wife and I were moving and hired these scammers. On a Thursday, A Russian man, Peter, was the foreman and immediately asked for a 300 dollar deposit, which I provided. After they loaded and we got to our new place, Peter again asked for another $300. I then spoke to his manager, Alex, who agreed to finish the move for an additional $150. They refused to move my property from truck to my place without the cash in hand. Since these folks are strangers and already gave me a bad vibe, I called my wife and asked that she bring the money. Rather than waiting or moving my stuff pending my wife's arrival, these scammers took my property to a warehouse on Frederick Avenue and said I could not get my life belongings unless I paid $529 and bring another truck on Monday otherwise, I would have to pay $1000 to get my stuff delivered today. The police got involved and said this was simply a "civil issue" because of a contract. At the end of the day, I had to pay $1000 for a 3 hour move. Alex never provided a receipt for the $1000, and when I called, he said to lose his number. I plan on filing a formal complaint with the BBB of Maryland and a civil suit for their fraud. In the meantime, please be ware! DO NOT USE! SCAM! EXTORT!

I would truly give them less than one star if I could. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES. I was promised movers from 2pm - 3pm and they didn't show up until 7:30 pm. Only two people showed up, one with a thick Russian accent and a short Hispanic man who literally spoke no English. I truly dislike them so much, I am eating them while they are moving my things right now. They're banging everything against the walls and taking FOREVER. They don't even have a credit card machine. They still carbon copy things. Also, when they quote you $210, it's just a lie. Truly the most unprofessional people I have ever met in my life. They even asked me if I wanted to help. Like whag am I paying you all this money for? To move my own things? Also, the man with the heavy Russian accent was incredibly rude and wildly unprofessional. I honestly don't know how I made this terrible mistake. But PLEASE. I really want to help everyone not make the same mistake I did. Do not hire these movers. For my troubles, they offered me a 5% discount. What an insult. I have nothing positive to say about them. Literally nothing.

HORRIBLE. They packed up my 2 bed rm apartment nothing seemed out of the ordinary until they got to my destination then demanded an extra $250 or all my things go on the side walk, I reminded them they promised $70/hr I was a new widow myself and had no extra money they didn't want to hear it they placed my whole house hold items on the pavement outside my new residence, what's worse???.....THEY STOLE MY 60IN FLAT SCREEN TV.. when I went to the bank across the st.. they rushed off I called PG County Police in Maryland and they said it's a civil matter 😤😤😤😤....THEY ARE A SCAM

Every single person I have interacted with at Hercules Services was excellent. From the moment I called them to the end of my move, every employee was jovial, helpful, and overall great. I called them on Monday and they were able to arrange movers for that weekend. They confirmed the move the day before and even offered to do it earlier than they promised. Their moving crew was right on time at arrival and moved my stuff to my new apartment in Baltimore without a single scratch on anything. I simply could not have asked for more. These guys truly make the world a better place.
