I recieved a new credit card that wasn't set up correctly online. I paid my bill and the website said $0 balance and payment successful for days until it decided something wasn't right and restored the balance. After getting a call from the bank asking why I hadn't paid my bill, I immediately went to the bank and paid in person. I asked if it would be reported to a credit bureau they said I'd have to wait and see. It was and they refused to remove it. My car loan interest rate from USAA went up 4.5 percent which USAA said was due to a recent change in my credit history. Choose a higher rated bank like Columbia.

Going to Heritage Bank in Marysville for a home loan was a horrible experience! If you are looking to buy a home then do NOT go to Heritage Bank!! My husband and I spoke with a loan officer by the name of Heather and was granted a prequalify letter and was given the "go ahead" to start house hunting. We placed an offer on a house we absolutely fell in love with which was accepted and everything going normal with the bank. Heather ordered the inspection, then the appraisal (which we payed for out of our pocket) while waiting for the appraiser to go look at the house Heather began asking for more and more documents, some of which I provided to her more than once. After the appraisal came back and a few days before we were scheduled to close and $1,000 later (out of pocket) she tells me via email that she couldn't approve us!! She would not answer her emails or phone calls from my realtor and from me. If my realtor hadn't jumped in and worked with the seller's realtor to help us switch lenders we would have lost our dream home!  She kept telling us to sell our truck so we could get approved and when asked about switching the loan type from conventional to FHA she would never give me an answer. Luckily we had a seller who was able to work with us and willing to extend the closing date so we could switch lenders. We switched to Homestreet Bank and closed within THREE weeks with no problems. HomeStreet was able to get done in three weeks what Heritage failed to do in SIX. So if I were you avoid Heritage Bank for home loans and instead go to Homestreet Bank because I know I am not the only person who had to switch lenders after working with Heather at Heritage.
