Bedbugs. 1/10, would not recommend. We found bedbugs in the room when we were about to checkout. Management was distinctly unhelpful regarding the situation, and when I tried to get a refund, I was given the runaround for several weeks before being told I'd get at most store credit.... for a hotel in another state. My wife heard them saying they'd just wash the sheets -- I wouldn't count on them hiring a proper exterminator. I found three bedbug bites a few days later and my friend found twelve to fifteen. Also the mattress was broken, and the area under the bed was filthy with grime and trash. Perhaps I should have been tipped off by the guy I saw the first morning with a cockroach in a bag requesting a partial refund. Unless you want to make an emergency Wal-Mart run, sit in front of the hotel in cheap clothes and your belongings in garbage bags, purchase a $200 luggage treatment device, and worry for weeks about whether you managed to avoid bringing any of these horrifically sneaky parasites home, I would not stay here. If you do, place your luggage on the tile in the bathroom before thoroughly inspecting the room for any sign of their presence.

I think the house keeping staff need training and must be supervised until they are thorough. Beautiful upgraded room with king size bed, 42in digital display. They didn't vacuum the room or mop the bathroom floor. But front took a look and took care of it. I will stay here if I am in the area. I forgot her name but she was very helpful. If they had everything done and the internet worked on day one, it would be 5star. Not concerned about breakfast.

Worst stay ever, unfortunately the hotel staff didn't handle things well. To start we called to see if we could check in an hour early and the front desk staff said no rudely and hung up right away. Then when we show up to check in at the proper check in time we are told there is no list of clean rooms yet and we have to come back later. When we came back later they checked us in ok and the front desk staff was different and much nicer. However the room they put us in was locked from the inside and the tv was on. Either someone was already in there or they missed cleaning it. We went down to the front desk and the front desk looked perplexed. I asked for a different room and after 10 minutes and verifying the room was locked from the inside she gave us another room. Unfortunately this room had a broken lock on the door and the hardest bed I have ever found in a hotel. Which is saying something because I have traveled a lot and the beds in China or Mexico City weren't even this bad. I slept in a chair and my wife slept on the floor because it was softer. Then at 1am the house keeping staff was in the hall supply closet with friends and they where carrying on and having a good old time. I opened my door and asked them to be quiet and they eventually did. This is the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel. I won't be staying my second night. The manager didn't want to refund me the second day but finally said he would. We will see if it happens. Bottom line so not stair here. A 3 star review average on this hotel is very generous. I am giving a one for horrible accommodations and a bad staff.

I’m giving 5 star for the jerks that give it 1 or 2 stars. The Motel was clean, the staff was friendly and they had a free deluxe continental breakfast. What else do what from a lower cost motel.

When it's August in Rocklin is HOT! That's why you go online and look for a hotel with a swimming pool. Well.... They have one alright. Except IT'S EMPTY! They don't tell you this when you reserve and pay for you room online. You find out after you put your bathing suit, sunscreen and sandals on ready to have some fun by the pool. Terrible. BTW Rocklin is is triple digits. IT'S AUGUST! maybe they should realize this and post one the pool is EMPTY!!!!!
