We come here all the time, it's great for younger kids (mine are 5, 3 and 1). Theres a big parking lot, lots of open grass to play in as well as picnic tables for lunch. We have even hosted birthday parties here!

We take the kiddos to the playground in this park often as long as it's not too hot outside (there's no shade for the playground). It's a nice sized playground with a good bit for them to do. Also available are tennis, basketball, soccer field, walking path and picnic tables/shelters. Though the official hours are from 9am-6pm, there is lighting available for the sports fields outside of that time, assuming they are not reserved for little league or some other group at that time. The park is very nice, but there are very few shady spots near any of the fields or courts.

This is one of the best place in Watkinsville to bring your children. The Oconee County Rec Department is located here.

One of my favorite local parks. A nice play ground as well as a decent disc golf course and walking track
