I love this place! Geeked out with the employee who knew a lot about comics, was very helpful, and answered all my questions. Atmosphere is great and the comic selection is expansive. They also sell Funko Pop figures, comic book frames, and posters. Definitely coming back here.

If you are familiar with the comic shops of old (Moondogs, Mile High Comics, etc), you are not going to be disappointed. Take the knowledge found in the classic shops of the bygone era and update it into something that is more welcoming to the newer fan and you have Hero Trader. The shop has some SERIOUS books in stock for the collector looking to fill that rare-book gap in their collection, as well as a number of more entry-level friendly comics for the more casual collector. The decor is slick and professional, as well as clean and welcoming. Everything about this shop screams professional, with care and attention to detail show to everything down to the fixtures. If you are looking for comics, graphic novels, or even supplies? This is where you want to go. They are set back a little bit, so you may need to keep your eyes peeled, but you will NOT regret the visit. Jeff and Co. know their stuff.

Great store. The owner Jeff is very welcoming and extremely well versed in the product he sells. Very bright, open and clean, unlike many comic stores and one of the only local stores to carry a large selection of individual back and collector's issues of comics and magazines like Weird Tales and Creepy. Good selection of toy collectibles with a large vinyl POP Figure display. Collector's action figures are there as well. Often I go there to check out their selection of comic, video game, movie, or pop-culture art books. I've placed a few special orders for art books and trades (collected issues of a comic series in a hard or softbound book) and have yet to be disappointed with their service. The store also features a free Art "Bar", a long table for aspiring artists or anyone else who feels like being creative to draw with art supplies that are provided free of charge. I often bring my own pencils and copic markers to draw, color and ink pictures. A great place and kid friendly as well though many of their books are best for ages 12 and up or mature readers they DO have a childrens section for trades and graphic novels. Jeff and the staff can also give recommendations based on age and interests for customer looking to buy for someone else. A+ rating. The best comic store in Fort Myers! Beats out all the competition in town, Cape Coral and Naples no question.
