This Forest preserve has nice winding trails, outhouses and a great playground near parking. My daughter requests to go here over our nearby park.
I enjoy the trails with and without others, they take you over bridges, in and out of shade.

Great playground area for kids of all ages! Safe, newer equipment with plenty of space for days that draw a large number of people to the park.

Have more plowed paths in winter but also keep separate paths for skiers that currently exist. Beautiful woodland park outside of central Long Grove near intersection of Old McHenry Road and Half Day Road.
