I've had several great experiences with this branch in the last few months. On one trip, the gas gauge was not at full. It was so late at night, I didn't bother saying anything when I left. When I returned the car, they estimated my gas mileage and refunded me the gas money. (I had paid less per gallon for the gas, than the rate they returned to me. Very generous.) The second time, I left my phone in the car. I knew my phone was missing, but I could not find it. It probably got wedged somewhere and came loose later. The next renter found my phone. The Hertz office tracked me down, and sent me the phone back. Great job!

I prepaid my reservation through Kayak/Priceline for a really good deal, but when I went to pick up the car the representative (Shay) told me that I had an outstanding balance of $357.00. I asked if maybe that was a mistake and he said no that's what it says in the reservation. I reopened my confirmation email to check my reservation and it said my reservation was prepaid and that I owe $0.00 at rental pick up. At this point, I'm ready to go back to the hotel and start making calls to get my money back from Priceline. I told Shay that it was not what I booked and unfortunately was going to have to cancel the reservation. Then after hearing that, he says let me see what we can do. He then told me that he can remove $10 fee for late pickup. I said that's not going to work out for me and asked once again if he can just please cancel my reservation. Shay then proceeded to tell me that he was going to print a statement for my reservation so I can see for myself all the charges, but the printer was not working so he turns his monitor towards me. Once he did that I see the charges and notice the coverage charge which I never included in my reservation since I'm covered with AMEX. I said to Shay that I never included coverage, he looks at me annoyed and asked me, "So you don't want the coverage?" I repeat again that I did not include any type of coverage. He then said, "Oh ok then your total is $0.00 today! Let me give you your contract." Are you kidding me?!! I spent a good 1/2 hour trying to understand these charges and Shay almost let me walk away if I hadn't questioned the charges. In fact, I believe that if hadn't prepaid the reservation he would have let me walk out unless I purchased insurance. I work customer service and I probably would have purchased a more reasonable coverage but that's not the way you do it. Shay is a dishonest person who was trying to take money from me. To add, he gave me a car that had tape all over and did not explain that this specific location is closed between 12 pm and 1 pm. So our drop off time was delayed due to "lunch closure" and Shay took our car for return and charged us an additional FULL DAY! I am almost 99.9% sure I'm not renting with Hertz on my next trip.

Shay really took care of me. I felt bad coming in late and cutting into his lunch hour (they close the office from 12-1), but he never rushed me and was polite and professional the whole time. No pressure to buy extra insurance or pre-paid gas. I will rent here again. Thanks, Shay!

After a terrible experience where they didn't have the car available to me after being told my reservation was all set, I asked them to cancel the reservation. They couldn't even do that right and called me back to confirm my reservation again. I don't think they care about what they do.

The man working there conned me into buying extra liability which costed $27+tax. They were also hesitant to upgrade me when the car I reserved was not available. I had to wait for two hours. I should have been more careful and I hope you take extra diligence when you visit this place.
