I wish there was a way to give less than a 1 star rating. 

First, I had to walk around and find the person that was supposed to be inside working as the front door was locked and the main room was empty.  Then I found out that I couldn't use a separate credit card to put the deposit on-wouldn't have been a problem had I been told that before I was asked to scan my card.  This caused that current card to be declined-a separate issue I will get to in a moment.  Long torrid story short, the person was absolutely zero help and told me I should take my business elsewhere-her suggestion was Enterprise.  Which I did.  Since Enterprise was another $150 more I thought I would try and make it work with my original reservation.  So I called back to get my reservation re-started since she told me she canceled my reservation after my card was wrongly declined-again without waiting for my authorization to even use said card.  This is when I was informed that since my card was declined I couldn't use it for another 24 hours.  So at this point I am SOL and very upset that my card was even considered declined in the first place; I had assumed when she asked me to run my card without giving me a total first it was just to open the reservation.  Not so much.  Finally, I decided to walk back over and see if the hold could be lifted since it was her fault that that particular card was declined in the first place.  Only-now the door is locked (at 330 in the afternoon-they're open until 5pm) and no one is inside-AGAIN.  At this point I called corporate and they were very little help as well aside from offering a ton of apologies.  
Looks like mom isn't getting a surprise visit on her birthday after all.  Thanks for nothing Hertz.

Last minute rental for family emergency - less than one hour from reserving online to driving away from Hertz location about 10 minutes after they opened for the morning.  Fast, efficient, thorough!  Great service - will not hesitate to go to Hertz for any/all future rental needs.

This company is so awful and has no integrity and is just just a real piece of work who needs to treat their employees better because I have never in my life heard of another company treat their employees as bad as hertz. It's like a freaking sweat shop 😠😠😠😠😠👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
