We ate in the coffee shop we each had a sandwich which was good but the pickles were outstanding!  And I'm not a big pickle aficionado but these were some of the best I've ever eaten parently they are made in house.  The pastries were also good. We shopped a little at the deli next door and found a couple of goodies to take home with us and their homemade pretzels are amazing definitely try one.

Excellent customer service.  Always friendly and helpful. Competitively priced for hard to find ingredients.  Holiday selection is abundant too; no fear of not having what you need for holiday meals. Every baked item is excellent.  Highly recommend the Hess team of professionals and products.

This place had everything German. It's small,  but you can get deli items,  treats, chocolates, German magazines, and daily fresh baked breads and pretzels.  Across the hall there is the bakery full of German cakes and pastries.  Great place to go for German speakers or English.

I have been going here with family since I was a kid! Highly recommend the sandwiches at the deli! The bread and pretzels from the shop are phenomenal. Love it here.

The only authentic German deli in the South Sound area. Fresh home-made pretzels, cheese bread, pumpernickel, rye bread and rolls, INCREDIBLE deli meat and cheese selection. Where else can you get pickled herring, 3 kinds of mortadella, 8 different kinds of salami, Westphalia ham, and more fresh cheese than you can shake a stick at?
