I previously ordered a coconut cream cake from here and it was pretty good, so I ordered a black forest cake from them for my mom's birthday.  

Unfortunately, it was probably the worst cake we've ever had.  The chocolate cake was dry, there were minimal cherries in the cherry filling and entirely too much whipped cream.  The style the cake was decorated was mediocre as well.  

They probably have other great tasting cakes, but the black forest cake is definitely not their specialty.

This review is solely on the customer service. We are having our wedding with one of their partner venues (cake is included in our package) and wanted to stop in to schedule a food tasting. My mother went in first and was in their for 10 minutes without the lady acknowledging her (no greeting, how can I help you, etc). Another employee came out and said something to her and that's when she asked my mom how can I help you. Mind you, my mom wanted cookies but just left out. When I went in with my fiancée asking to schedule she responded with in a standoffish manner "when is your wedding? Well our contract is up at that time so we don't know who they'll be getting the cake from" and put her head down to proceed with writing in her book. Disrespectful, rude and ignorant to say the least.

The pound cakes, Crumb bun cakes,  sticky buns, and danish are awesome! I go frequently and always excellent customer service!  The best bakery I've ever been to and this us including Philadelphia! Oh and I forgot to mention the delicious butter cakes too!

I've only had the doughnuts from there but they are huge in size & delicious. Sugared doughnuts are fabulous!

They were our cake vendor through our venue for our wedding.  They were so easy to deal with.  The cakes were all delicious, it was hard to choose.  Check out the chocolate chip pound cake.  It was phenomenal.  All in all the cake came out better than we could have imagined and was absolutely delicious.
