My first time there I had the double-burger (No Cheese) just to taste how good they cook the hamburger meat. It was "Delicious." My second time I had the double cheese-burger with an order of zucchini. BOTH were Delicious. The Only down side to this place, there is a school nearby and sometimes you get student. Some of the students talk with so Much EXCITEMENT that they forget to turn there personal volume down. Which makes it hard to enjoy a nice quite meal. I would order "to go" but Hot meals always taste good when there "Hot."

Best BLT on the planet. Great Asada burritos and chili fries. Very good burgers. Not for those counting calories although they do have 2 really excellent salads. Family owned. LOVE this place!!!!

It was a good experience. It's a good place to go if you are in a hurry. But their prices are totally unreal. 2 dollars and 75 cents for a regular cup of coffee. I could see that at Starbucks. But here.? That was a little crazy. And 8 dollars for an order of French toast, just 2 pieces of toast. S a little outrageous. I'm sure if I had lunch it would probably be a lot better, but I just think their breakfast is a little overpriced. You can't walk out of there without spending 12 dollars on breakfast.

Hi life is my favorite. No frills just simple great burger joint with some decent Mexican food as well. And the pancakes are the best pancakes I have ever had. They give you a ton of food and the prices are very reasonable. I have been going here for 30 years. Okay that just made me feel old, but this place is great. If you want they're hot salsa you have to ask for the green salsa that they have behind the counter it's super good.

This place is basically a landmark in South Pasadena, they have a wide variety of menu items with reasonable prices. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is always friendly. Seating areas are normally kept clean unless it's peak dining hours when the entire staff becomes busy. Worst case scenario you may have to grab a napkin and wipe crumbs off the table top. They have a decent size parking lot and a bathroom for the customers.
