We live nearby and haven't found a Chinese restaurant that we liked- until we tried delivery from this place last night! Quick delivery, reasonable prices. The house egg roll was one of the best I've had! We also enjoyed their shrimp fried rice, general tso's chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. We will be back- so happy to have found our new favorite place!
Hibachi Chinese Restaurant m LOCATION = 1 - Unremarkable. SERVICE = 1 - No star for this category. The minor who took my order with distain was very annoyed to be dealing with a customer and her body language and attitude reflected that. FOOD = 1 - We ordered fried rice and Lo Mein. When I tell you their fried rice is literally just brown rice I am not lying. We picked it up on the way home. When we opened it at home an realized it was just cooked brown rice we called to get it fixed assuming it was just a mistake. Went back to get more, and they gave us the exact same container of brown rice. That is just what their fried rice is. Very bland and ugly texture. Very low quality food. The lo mein was also bland. PRICE = 1 - For the quality of the food which is very low, their prices should be the cheapest in town. Much too high for what they’re serving. They lose a star here. EXPERIENCE = 1 - When you walk through their door, they keep you in an extremely hot entry way with no AC or windows as you wait for the passive aggressive staff member to be annoyed to serve you. The food was bad and we had to go back twice to verify that. Very poor experience. Overall Thoughts - 1 ! Do not recommend. They should not call themselves hibachi if their food is not prepared in a hibachi style or taste.
First time having it today. The food was excellent and prepared well. The prices are also very reasonable. We were happy with our experience!
When I want to eat Chinese Hibachi is the one. Chicken egg rolls good, chicken Lo mein I ask for a small and it’s a good size for 2 person good amount of chicken, and the fried rice good taste. Location very convenient for me.
You can only pick up or have the food delivered . Dining area is closed . The food is always great and the people are just the friendliest. I will by enough for a couple of dinners and appetizers too. Vegetarian options: Parking only on street for pickups . Usually not a problem.
Great place for diner. Lunch specials are very reasonable. Staff if very helpful and friendly. Food is always delicious!
This used to be my favorite Chinese food place until today. To pickup an order they now have you in a glass cage, in 90+ degree weather with no airflow or air conditioning. And to top it off there are flys all on the other side of the glass. Get home and to go containers are half the size the used to be same price if not more, way less food and sauce. Not sure if I'll be going back.
Really, really good! Very nice people. The food is fresh. They appear to be in the middle of remodeling. They do deliver.
My wife and I used to live in Bay view, and the nearby Chinese food was lacking. We tried this place out for the first time about eight years ago and the meals have been consistently delicious. Then we basically moved next door without realizing it, so there may be a bit of bias. Orders are usually fast and accurate, though for the past six years or so we've pretty much only done carry-out. I appreciate the walk-in barrier during the covid times. I'll say this - not a huge fan of their crab rangoon, but their other dishes are solid, so that's not a deal breaker.
Ordered for Christmas Eve and everything was so delicious!!
