Claude is a great guy to sit there and bs with and I love playing with his dog 'lady' when I go in there, but if your looking for cheap items, it's not going to happen. We really need to get a real hardware store here in Airway Heights. If your going to be heading into Spokane for something else your better of stopping at a hardware store and saving money.

If "old man Hicks" doesn't have it, he'll know who does. He is a wealth of knowledge, and full of great stories. For the detractors - respect your elders. Great guy, ethical, moral, and knowledgeable. Can't speak for other establishments, but if you're not sure what you need, or where to get it, pop in and see Mr. Hicks.

Claude n claudet are the poster children for mentally damaged inbred hicks.  This is ran by same guy who allows a freakshow to go on at hicks heights inn. I was robbed by this guys daughter claudet my childs movies stolen by a tweeker named leah outta my motel room that i thought i would have reasonable safety in turns out motel run like a drugden with freaks allowed to have keys its like leaving kids in charge of the candy having methed out tweekers clean ur rooms lol ya they clean em all right my 5 year old daughter would like our season 2 punky Brewster and my walking dead season four blu ray set n wateva else u lifted from our room claudet.  Your tweeker employees suck thieves.

Good guy that works there, but the store is terrible. Been there twice. The first time was to get a single oversized drill bit. The price seemed outrageous, but I assumed that was because of the size of the bit. Looked it up online later and it was easily twice as expensive as any Lowes or home depot, and close to three times as expensive as online stores. Swore I would never go back there again.

I got in a pinch today and needed a 9/16 drill bit before dark and this was the only place close enough so I broke my own rule and went there again. Bought an overpriced 9/16 drill bit, took it home, opened it, and sure enough....it was a improperly marked bit that was actually a 5/8" bit....way off. Wasted an entire weekend now. 

This place is so terrible that this is the only time in my life that I have taken the time to write a review.
