I've been to Hickory Tavern several times and the food almost always comes from the kitchen SLOW. The wait staff and the quality/taste of the foods brings me back. For instance, today my 2 daughters and I waited MORE than 45 minutes for 3 orders of wings. Our waiter, Dominique,  was great though. He came and explained why our order was taking so long and apologized for the delay. He continued to refill our beverages and was as attentive as he could be while we waited for our food. The orders came to the table hot and was delicious. If I could do separate ratings for the kitchen service, the food itself, and the wait staff, my ratings would be 2, 5, 5 respectively. I am giving it an overall 4 stars as an average of the 3 separate scores I wanted to give separately.

AWESOME. AWESOME.AWESOME place to eat. The food is so wonderful and the atmosphere is so good. I love this place.

Food is decent but the service is always slow.

Great beer selection, especially on draft. Lots of televisions to watch sporting events and generally a nice and attentive staff. I just wish they served brunch!
