It was my very first experience at "glamping", and I liked it very much. I went there to fish from a shore and it worked for me really well. Those who want deep water fishing could rent a canoe or a motor boat there. There are no hiking trails right there, so you'll need to drive a bit for that. Hosts are indeed friendly and helpful. The main downside for me was a lack of a good Internet connection - but if you go that far to stay away from the busy world it may actually work for you :)

Stayed there in Sept 2013, and we're booked back in Sept. 2014 in a bigger cottage with some friends, then stayed again in 2015. Great ATVing and super clean cottages. The owners are very accommodating and great people. Our new favourite place to ATV and stay

Wonderful cottage, even for couples! (Even better for families) would 100% recommend. The owners are very friendly and helped us with fishing too.

Cozy cottage slept 10 without feeling cramped or too large. Well equipped kitchen. Friendly hosts and beautiful lake. Quiet retreat.

The road to get there was *very* slippery in early February -- even going 20km/h I still fishtailed frequently without winter tires. Drive carefully!
