One of my favorite places on this Earth. A wonderful place for a day trip, and there's a country store nearby to grab sandwiches and lunch to take along. The overlooks are breathtaking and the cliffs are amazing. The trails are well worn and easy to hike. Perfect spot to take a friend and soak up some of nature's beauty. There's also Deer Wood, a beautiful campground about a mile up the road if you want to bed down under the stars afterwards.

Becareful use common sense in the trails, don't jump the fences. Just go and enjoy the beauty, and remember you carried in you carried out don't litter

Great hiking trails along the river. Bring a hammock and chill by the water. It's beautiful and quiet with stunning views from the high rocks.

I have attended 2 Intro to Rock Climbing courses at High Rocks State Park and it is a great spot for beginners or seasoned climbers. Dozens upon dozens of anchor points. Valley to Summit tours was fantastic on our last visit.
