Highland is a local coffee shop/bar that has been opened since 1978, owned by Mike C. We are unique in that we try to get to know our customers and create a mellow, laid back environment and each employee brings his/her own uniqueness to their shift.

There is only one Highland. Quirky, kinda pricey, open late. Kind of unique to find a coffee place with a full liquor license. Lots of amazing alcohol, coffee, ice cream fusions. I've been going for 20+ years. Friendly baristas although not a place to go to when you're in a hurry. Relax, sit down, hang out for a while and you'll never know what you'll find.

I really enjoyed my time here! The coffee and food were phenomenal and the atmosphere is great. That being said, last time I was there, there was some pretty vulgar writing on the walls in the bathroom that could (and probably should haha) be painted over. Other than that, I really love this place and when I visit Cincinnati again, I will definitely come back!

Generally speaking this is a pretty good coffee shop. The baristas are for the most part friendly and helpful, except for the guy who works Friday afternoon and early evening (avoid this place like the plague during that time). The plain coffee is pretty bad but there are plenty of other options, and they usually have decent beer options.

Loved the hot chocolate here! When I came in on Sunday, there was a live jazz band playing which was quite good. I settled into a couch and finished my book. Really cool atmosphere, and while I didn't have a chance to try any of the food, the menu was quite varied.

Really loving the house made hummus and pizza bread! Great craft beer selection. Free Wifi.
