There must have been some changes in the last year! The front staff was very caring and proficient, the benefits coordinator worked with me to make the best use of my insurance lowering my out-of-pocket expense with ensured quality of care. Dr Art explained procedures and options clearly and we came up with a plan that fit my needs. The dental assistant did a great job too and was professional with a great sense of humor!

Yikes, this place was terrible! I had a dental emergency and was put in this little cubicle to wait for someone to come see me. After 30 minutes, I was still alone and could hear everyone's conversation. They referred to me and said, "Anyone see patient 3 yet?" They responded no and chuckled. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they were extra busy. When they finally saw me, the lady literally looked in my mouth and said you'll have to come back for an assessment and we'll see what seems to be the problem. Come back in a few months. She also laughed at me after seeing my teeth, I dealt with poverty growing up and never had a dentist as a child. These people did nothing for me. No teeth washing, no xray, I literally sat there just to be told to come back and make another appointment. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. I have so much teeth and gum pain so I can't eat most of my meals. I have to come back in months -___- Don't go here if your teeth actually need help, these people only want perfect teeth to work with and will laugh at you if yours aren't. Time to get a new dentist.

Beware!!! I was told I needed upgraded dentures and paid 1800 in advance (they require) in addition to my insurance. After 6 months and two re-dos I was informed on 12/10/12 they could not give me dentures to fit and that I would get a full refund as well as my insurance would be refunded. I have contacted their office manager several times since inquiring where my refund is. I paid in good faith and expected good faith when they could not deliver. I kept getting it is a procerss and I would be hearing soon. As of this date 1/24/2013 neither my insurance company or myself have seen a dime from these people. Either they are totally incompetent or totallly unethical. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and now the Dental Board. Hopefully someone will protect me as a consumer who never got the product promised yet cannot get a refund as also promised. Beware!!!!!

I really wanted to like this place, and for a minute I thought that I had found a great dental practice for me and my family. Unfortunately after today we won't be back. I brought my kids in last week for routine exams looking to establish a relationship with the practice. I really liked Dr. Art, he was friendly and informative and did really well with my kids. The dental hygienist we had (Ariana I believe) was really great as well. I mentioned to the doc how much fear and anxiety I have about going to the dentist myself. We spoke for a little while and he offered to write me a prescription to help with my anxiety if I wanted to schedule an appt. I got a good feeling from him and scheduled an appt for 4/23. Ginger the receptionist said she would call the rx into the pharmacy of my choosing, simple as that. Not so much... I called the pharmacy the following day to follow up, they said they never received the request. Not a big deal I figured I'd give it a day or two. When I called again today they still hadn't received it. I called Highland Dental Group to follow up however it was an answering service that answered. I was confused thinking they were closed but was told that the practice was under staffed and they were just helping out. Weird but okay. I explained my situation and was told they would get back to me. An hour and a half later I get a call saying I need to come pick up my rx in the next 1.5 hours otherwise it would not be available to me for my appt first thing in the morning. I was horribly confused and asked why. The young woman seemed agitated and passed the phone to the office manager Ginger who had a horrible attitude. She reiterated that I could come pick up the rx and take it to the pharmacy as the policies had apparently changed. I expressed to her the time frame was horribly inconvenient for me and her attitude got worse from there. She was completely unapologetic about the inconvenience on my end, when I told her that I would need to reschedule she actually huffed at me and was totally confrontational. WTH kind of "office manager" in a professional establishment behaves this way?? Ummm no, I cancelled all further appointments and will not be coming back. There are entirely too many options for dental offices in the area.

They aren't cheep, but what is anymore. Worth the money, they have a good facility and do good work. Thankx guys
