LOVE this place!! It is our favorite getaway. Close enough to drive to but far enough to feel like you are actually getting away. The inn is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is always delicious and they have lots of options. If you ever get a chance to stay here you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I got married at Highland Haven. It was wonderful and very beautiful. The staff is amazing! My little intimate ceremony was much better than I had expected it to be. We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversaries. Thank you Jenna and the rest of the Highland Haven staff for helping us to make our special day perfect, and I truly mean perfect. :)

We arrived particularly early from the Denver International Airport on a Monday morning, while the Evergreen Suite was still occupied. We were greeted enthusiastically and lovingly at the office door by Desi the bulldog (who happily posed for her portrait by the creek later.) The owners and staff were generous enough to hold our bags for us until the suite was available and cleaned while a relative showed us around Evergreen and Bear Creek. The groundskeeper was quite genial, obliging many of my curiosities about the property and its background. The owners encouraged a look around the Tree House, and staff graciously accommodated my wish to photograph the interior. To say the Tree House is to die for is not entirely inaccurate... It is a home fit for a fairie-tale romance. Allison behind the front desk performed a verified miracle advancing her a step closer to sainthood when we received a flight update concerning bad weather in my mother's flight path the next day. Allison booked a new flight for her, as well as a room at the Denver airport so my frantic mother would be nearby her flight. We regrettably had to leave early in the morning, and Allison even offered to leave bagels out for us in the office foyer as the staff would still be tucked in their own beds. Everyone needs a guardian Allison. I can't stress how incredibly hospitable everyone at Highland Haven is, and it shows in their care and lodgings.

Simply fabulous. Accommodations are elegant and comfortable and very well put together. Staff are super friendly and courteous. I can't say enough about their delicious breakfast. Within walking distance of good restaurants.

The staff there is delightful. Gail took the time to walk my wife and I around a little and show us the TreeHouse. The property is a little gem in the mountains. The rooms are charming though they can get quite small depending on which room you purchase. The breakfast is good. The place is a perfect romantic weekend getaway.
