Nice picnic area and play ground for the kids. Lots of grass area for them to play games or just run around. Bathrooms were clean.
Small but nice, the playground is small but fun for all, and there are swings. Bbq area is great for a single large family gathering. There is a nice big lawn area with a path circling around it. There is also a nice basketball hoop across the street. Everyone I have met here has been friendly. Park is a little on the small side and the playground equipment and bathrooms could use more regular cleaning.
Small park but has the staples. 2 toddler swings and 2 standard swings, a small play structure. All on rubberized surfaces so would be good for any ADA needs. There is also a covered picnic area but it’s regularly reserved for birthdays. There is also public bathrooms and even water fountains. Oh and there is also a great big field to play in with a clay jogging trail. Just across the street is a half basketball court and two recent refreshed Bocci ball courts as of August 2021.
Beautiful park. Just had a big family picnic there. Everyone was very pleased with this park. Would have given this park 5 stars if the restrooms had sinks to wash your hands or a portable sink provided if you have the park reserved. All in all I would definitively have another function there.
Reasons for loving this park. Probably the cleanest public park in Vallejo area.Everything functioning like it's supposed too. I always see guys from the city working to keep clean the park to keep it nice and in working order. Also I see VPD patrol this area often too. We have been going here as a family for years. Lots of parking is available. We have booked/reserved pavilions for events and that was easy to do with GVRD.
It's a nice little neighborhood park, but nothing to get too excited about. Pros: The grass is always lush and fun to roll around in with your pup. There's a 1/4 mile of packed gravel path, so you can get your steps in! There's a small kiddie play area and covered communal tables grills? for gatherings- remember those? Like we had back in the day . Cons: it's adjacent to Columbus Parkway, which is busy, so you can hear the "woosh" of cars all he time.
This park is small but nice. The restrooms are pretty nasty though. The field is a good size. The track around the field is alright but sometimes they leave the sprinklers on for too long and the track gets muddy. I think its first come first serve for the picnic tables. They have half court basketball across the street from the park. Buts it's a cool court inside of a cage so u dont have to chase loose balls
My family reserved this park for a day to celebrate our October birthdays. Due to the pandemic, the park was a good place to observe social distancing, mask wearing and other safe and healthy practices to prevent infection. Our event was fun and safe for us. Our problems with the park were the closed restrooms and turned off water faucets, as mandated by California. These were not issues in the previous times we used this park.
Very nice park, plenty of room to run around. Nice play structures and pavilions too.
Nice park. Great location for a party or BBQ
