A small family own sushi restaurant. Ordered their omakase and all sashimi are very fresh and tasty. Few sushi had too strong of a vinegar /sour tasted for me, but they are Jap / Peruvian Fusion and I am not familiar with Peruvian food. Overall it was great and not pricy. Seems like there's a lot of regulars.

Great quality, prices are higher to match. Japanese sushi chef at the bar. Good happy hour specials and service is friendly. This probably deserves 5 stars but I am spoiled by the food in Little Tokyo... First world problems

Take a walk with me on a short journey through time and space... Still with me? Good. Higo was such a nice find. Actually, less of a find and more of a recommendation. Higo is not a traditional sushi spot. It is a Peruvian and Japanese fusion spot. For those not in the know, and a wondering what a weird mix. Actually it is not. Seafood and civic he are staples of Peruvian cuisine. This joint is a good balance of having each ethnicities style, and dishes that combine the flavor of both!!! Pretty yummy I've been here only twice, but I do love it. Everything they do, they do well. One of the stand out things they have are the Peruvian sauces. I wish I knew the names. Maybe one day I'll get around to learning their names. Higo is definitely a spot you need to plan in advance to come. it has a lot of locals. Both times I've been it seemed as if the place was filled with regulars. There is a great choice of fish here, and they don't get carried away with a million nonsensical rolls. Higo is a spot I highly recommend to all. Whether you're a sushi or pervuvian novice, to somebody that knows either cuisine well. Higo will hit the spot Until next time...
